Customer Service and Standards
- Card Issuance: Every attempt is made to issue a card within 5 minutes, depending on volume. Other services such as reprints, deposits, or standard access requests, take even less time to process.
- Account Management: Account issues and general consulting may typically take up to 20 minutes, depending on the complexity of the issue. Student account billing and Dining Plan additions, usually take 1 business day to complete.
- Building Access Control: Much of our access assignments are automated, meaning no involvement from the cardholder is necessary.
- System Support issues are handled immediately; we work on the problem until it is resolved.
- Disputes must be initiated in person in the GWorld Office and can take up to several weeks to complete as several parties may be involved, including the card user, the vendor with whom the dispute is being initiated, the University Police Department and the GWorld office’s administrator.
- Online Services such as making deposits, obtaining your balance, viewing transaction history, and suspending your card, can be completed in a matter of seconds.
- Customers will receive an initial response to phone and email inquiries within 48 hours during normal business hours.
