Eco-Challenge

Be a part of a contest that will not only benefit the winner but also our planet!

The GW Eco-Challenge is comprised of three different mini contests:

  1. Reduce electricity usage - click here for results to date.
  2. Reduce water usage - click here for results to date.
  3. Display your Eco-Spirit within your residence hall.

Contests 1 & 2 require that each residence hall's water and electric usage be tracked beginning mid-February until mid-April 208 and compared against last year's usage to determine the halls that reduce the usage rates the most as compared against other halls.

Contest 3 is the Eco-Spirit Contest will be judged on student's creativeness to communicate the conservation message within their residence halls. The contest runs until April 15th 2008.

The participants from the winning residence halls from all three contests will be invited to a celebration and entered into a raffle to win Eco-Friendly prizes!!!
