January 17th - RecycleMania begins



February 3rd  - (Wednesday) RecycleMania Waste Sort

Back by popular demand, staff from the Office of Planning and Environmental Management, in conjunction with Risk Management and Campaign GW, will take over Kogan Plaza for the day to show just how much waste can be Recycled. Cheer on the waste sorters, at GW's 2nd annual RecycleMania Waste Sort.


February 10th - (Wednesday) Freshman Basketball Game

RecycleMania will team up with Associate Vice President and Dean of Freshmen Fred Siegel - at the Freshman Basketball game. Search the GW campus for 5 OUTDATED posters to be recycled, bring them to the basketball game to get an additional ticket to be entered into the housing raffel.  Note: There will only be one bonus ticket given out per person.  Bringing more than the requested 5 posters will not increase the number of tickets handed out. There will be people there checking that the posters are outdated. This event is limited to Freshman.  Any questions should be e-mailed to smcgov@gwu.edu.


February 17th - (Wednesday) Recycling Basketball Game

For the second week in a row RecycleMania will be taking over the Smith Center for a Recycling themed Basketball Game. There will be a recycling relay race at half time, and recycling themed trivia questions.


Dorm Storming: 

RecycleMania is teaming up with RHA for some Recycling Trick-o-Treating.  Look for members of your RHA to knock on your door and ask for your recycling.  Impress them, with your recyclign knowledge.  Dates of when to expect them in a residence hall near you, will be posted shortly.


Eco Treasure Hunt:

RecycleMania is teaming up the Office of Sustainability, Colonial Challenge and ECO Challenge to provide an exciting Treasure Hunt.  Follow the map of clues to find the prize.   Additional details and dates comming the 1st week of February.
