Merriweather

Merriweather, a first year living option on Mount Vernon campus, has a maximum occupancy of 43 students in double suites with shared bathrooms and double rooms.

Fully furnished, each Merriweather room offers students desks, desk chairs, dressers and twin beds. Merriweather features laundry facilities and a television lounge in the basement of the building. A community kitchen allows students to cook in the residence halls and share their favorite recipes from home. On a nice day, students enjoy catching a lacrosse or soccer game on one of Mount Vernon's many athletic fields.

The Science Village at Mount Vernon provides students compelled by scientific exploration the chance to delve into the areas of earth sciences, bioscience and medicine, mathematics and engineering, and computer science. First Year students in the Science Village can have rewarding hands-on experiences that provide the chance to grapple with and create innovative solutions for scientific and technological challenges.
