What to Bring to GW (and What Not To)

Prior to moving in, talk to your roommate(s) about sharing -- this will defray your personal costs and cut down on duplication. We recommend that you consider purchasing common items when you come to campus. Many malls and stand-alone retail outlets are within walking distance or a short Metro ride or drive away.

For your safety, there are items that GW prohibits in its residence halls. These items will be confiscated if found. Please carefully review GW's Prohibited Item List prior to arriving on campus.
