Shipping and Storage
Collegeboxes is a vendor used by many GW students for packing, storage, and shipping services for the summer as well as during study abroad. Collegeboxes works with students and their parents to provide a smooth move-in and move-out experience. Collegeboxes also offers a Ship-to-School service, in partnership with UPS, to ship your belongings to campus for fall move-in.
UPS also provides students the ability to store their belongings for the
upcoming semester and longer. Two storage plans are offered -- Basic storage and Flex storage. Both plans offer convenient service for the busy student and provide free boxes, tape, pick-up and delivery. All belongings are stored in a climate controlled warehouse and returned safely next fall.

GW students have the added convenience of shipping your packages from FedEx and UPS, directly from campus. The added bonus is that rates will be approximately 20 to 60 percent lower than using other carriers. You and may take advantage of these savings for personal shipping by visiting GW Mail and Package Services located at 2025 F St., NW, at Foggy Bottom.
GW residence halls do not have storage facilities, so we encourage you to make your shipping and storage arrangements well in advance of the semester's end.
Please note that the use of portable storage devices such as PODs or similar container services is restricted on GW's campus.
