Cancellation Information

The District of Columbia Zoning Commission requires GW to house all First and Second year students in on-campus housing. Rising Third and Fourth Year students may submit a Request to Cancel Undergradate Housing License Agreement, 2009-2010 form to cancel their housing assignments.

Please see the dates and fees below for further information:

• March 31, 2009 - Housing assignments are released
• April 3, 2009 - All rising third and fourth year students may cancel their 2009-2010 housing license assignment without a fee.
• May 1, 2009 - All rising third and fourth year students can cancel their 2008-2009 housing assignment with a $300 fee.

Students assigned housing after May 1, 2009 will have 5 business days to cancel their housing without penalty.
