Lost Keys and Keycards

Lost Room or Suite Keys

Report any lost key immediately either by contacting the RPM Call Center at 202-994-0381 or visiting the Key Depot.

If you think you might be able to find your key quickly, obtain a loaner key from the Key Depot for 24 hours.

If the loaner key is not returned after 24 hours, the key will be considered lost and a lock change will be initiated at a cost of $80.

Loss of a front door key for rooms at 1959 E Street, New Hall, Ivory Tower, select rooms in Madison and Mitchell, and the Scholars Village Town Houses will require the front door lock to be changed at a cost of $80. A lost bedroom door key will be replaced at a cost of $10.

Upon e-mail notification of a lock change all residents of the room must exchange their old key for a new key at no cost. A $10 charge is incurred for each old key not returned.

Lost Mailbox Keys or Combinations:

If you have lost your mailbox key or combination, visit the Key Depot for assistance. A lost mailbox key will be replaced for a cost of $10.

Lost Key Cards:

Follow the same procedure for Lost Room Keys above. All residents will need to pick up new key cards from the Key Depot. Replacement key cards will be provided at a cost of $10.
