Fall Move-In Volunteers

By volunteering to help with move-in you will be providing a valuable service to your fellow classmates and their families on what can be an otherwise stressful day.  All volunteers are expected to be present for TWO, three and a half-hour shifts. One shift must be on Saturday, August 26th, the second shift can be on either Wednesday, August 23rd or Saturday, August 26th. In recognition for this effort, you will be given early move-in so that you can be organized and ready when the students arrive on the general move-in day. Volunteers are expected to work at least one shift on August 26th because it is the largest move-in day. To be eligible, all applicants must be in good standing with the University and cannot currently be on disciplinary probation.

Please be advised that volunteers will be held accountable and if the two mandatory volunteer shifts are not completed, the student will be charged the $100 pay by night fee. We welcome students that are members of registered student organization to apply as this is a great time to talk about your organization with incoming and returning students, however, please also note that during volunteer shifts, ALL volunteers must be wearing their move-in volunteer shirts.

Incoming first-year and transfer students ARE NOT ELIGIBLE to volunteer. The volunteer application is available through July 12, 2017 via OrgSync.
