Peer Mediators
The Peer Mediator serves as a student staff member on the Campus Living & Residential Education (CLRE) team. Through their unique student perspective, Peer Mediators will aid our residential communities by providing resources and strategies to assist peers with interpersonal, roommate, and community-based conflicts. Peer Mediators will empower residents to be active contributors in fostering a community of respect. They will help familiarize residents with resources available in the larger GW community and facilitate outreach to support services. Through training, individual interactions, and programming, Peer Mediators will encourage connections between residents and create a sense of home within our residence halls.
