Somers Hall, a first-year student coed living option on the Mount Vernon campus, has a maximum occupancy of 246 students in single rooms, double suites with shared bathrooms and double rooms. Somers is the home to students in the Women's Leadership Program and Politic & Values academic residential community.

A limited number of single rooms offer private bathrooms while double rooms share a bathroom with another double room. Somers features a study room on each floor, a community kitchen and laundry facilities. The lower level has a television, DVD player, and a foosball table, making it a great place to relax and catch up with friends.

Somers ideal location in the center of campus makes it easy to check out the annual Octoberfest celebration and to watch a movie screening on the Quad.

Almost 9% of freshmen students live in Somers Hall.
