Administrator On-Call

Our residential communities are staffed by trained full-time professional Community Coordinators who live in the communities they serve. While each building has a Community Coordinator who serves as a student’s main point of contact during normal business hours, our staff members also serve in a 24/7 Administrator on Call (AoC) duty rotation. By addressing urgent student concerns and providing after-hours support for situations that cannot wait until the next business day, AoC’s provide an additional level of caring staff response.

Students receive the on-call number through email communication, building meetings, and it is prominently displayed on the digital display in the lobby of the residence halls on campus.

If you're looking for assistance with an emergency in progress, please contact the George Washington University Emergency Services at (202) 994-6111.

The On-Call Area Map shows a map of the Residence Halls on both the Foggy Bottom Campus and the Mount Vernon Campus. The map is labeled with colors, green, blue, red, and yellow, to show On-Call Area 1, On-Call Area 2, On-Call Area 3, and On-Call Area 4 respectively. On-Call Area 1 contains Madison Hall, 2109 F Street, Dakota Hall, Francis Scott Key Hall, Thurston Hall, and 1959 E Street. On-Call Area 2 contains buildings such as Shenkman Hall, Fraternity and Sorority Life Houses, South Hall, Guthridge Hal
