Campus Living (staging)

Campus Living

So much of your time at the George Washington University (GW) will be spent outside the classroom - in your room and in your residence hall community. You have choices when it comes to selecting room costs, hall amenities, building locations, and roommates to fit your GW life.

Residence Halls

Residence halls are environments that promote belonging, student success, personal growth, and shared community.

Affinity Housing

Affinity Housing presents the opportunity for students to define and create their own living community around their particular needs and interests.

Gender-Inclusive Housing

Gender-inclusive housing (GIH) allows students who identify as different genders or have a different biological sex to live together in one apartment or room.

Fraternity & Sorority Housing

There are several fraternities and sororities that have townhouses within the GW campus. Between eight and 30 students live in each chapter house. Chapter listings are subject to change annually.

Living-Learning Communities

Living-Learning Communities bring students together under a shared interest or academic program where they discover new passion areas.
