Position Specific Summary: The CLRE Special Project Assistant will serve as a student staff member on the Campus Living and Residential Education (CLRE) team.  We strive to foster inclusive residential environments where students have opportunities to grow and develop into leaders, value civility and respect, and thrive as members of the GW community.  CLRE Special Project Assistants will provide administrative support for either our residential programming or the faculty program.  Special Project Assistants assist in creating communication, resource development, as well as tracking and data management to ensure these programs are meeting their goals.  The Special Assistants will be supervised by the CLRE professional staff. 

Standard Position Description: 
  • The student will assist in the administrative functions of special projects relating to residential programming or the faculty program.   
  • Tasks may include: assist with program communication, perform administrative tasks, assist in data collection and data entry, provide support for events related to the project/program. 
  • Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to specific departmental needs.

Required Qualifications: This is an entry level position, little to no experience required, all training will be provided. 

Preferred Qualifications: Project teamwork, excellent written and oral communication, strong organizational skills, experience with social media and content creation programs (ex: Canva).
