Housing Registration for Fraternity & Sorority Chapters

2025-2026 FSL Housing Registration

Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) chapters have specific housing options available to them depending on their chapter affiliation. Only members of applicable FSL organizations are permitted to live in FSL chapter housing. If looking to live in FSL chapter housing, members of applicable organizations should reach out to their House Managers directly, as all chapters have their own processes of creating their housing rosters.

Note on Housing Registration and Fraternity & Sorority Chapters

  • All students who will live in their chapter’s on-campus housing must complete housing registration via the GW Home portal.
  • All room assignments in fraternity and sorority on-campus housing are determined by the chapter’s House Manager
  • Students expecting to live in FSL chapter housing do not need to form roommate groups, as specific room and roommate assignments are set by the chapter House Manager.
  • During General Housing Registration, students expecting to live in FSL chapter housing will be asked if they expect to live in their chapter’s on-campus housing. This info is not used by Campus Living & Residential Education to make chapter housing assignments (as House Managers determine chapter housing rosters). Rather students indicating this are then not required to create the ranked preference list of residence halls and room types that non-FSL students do during housing registration.
